Quote: The two cases I store my sets in have room for another six years...back to 1953 or forward to 2032. Yikes! Given the trajectory of recent US Mint price increases, you might not be able to use cost to determine the direction you choose.

Thanks GLB49, jbuck, Seamonkey5150, and Errers and Varietys. I'm happy with this one! See anything unusual E&V? I don't, but I lack your expertise.
Sadly, true, jbuck!

Very nice delivery, Seamonkey!
I'd be jealous if it included a 1976 set. Yeah, I'm picky about envelopes too. But if desired, you may be able to pick one up, minus coins, for a few dollars.

Quote: A 1961 US Mint Set for $105.86 delivered. That's below "melt". These sets have 1.2296 oz ASW, so melt value at $75/ozt = $92.22.

I found the source of my error. I inadvertently had a 40% Eisenhower in the calculator, which is 0.31623 ozt. Oops! So, the Cents and Nickels weren't freebies, after all, LOL Doesn't burst my bubble when the going rate is $120-130, when they're even available. In any case, that thought was just gravy. I wasn't buying silver.

Picked-up a small group of 40%ers (just a tad under spot) to upgrade my albums 67 KHD figured the others would just be stackers but to my surprise this 1969 KHD is DDR-015 on VarietyV's list . http://www.varietyvista.com/12%20Ke...9DDDR015.htm gentle touch of toning @9k on the reverse
