This weekend I decided to give some love to my long neglected dark-side collection this year, as humble as she is. I need to re-holder and properly label a lot of them. Other than the cost of new 2x2s and replacing some old/aged/damaged pages, it should be an inexpensive project. I originally planned to move the coins to Dansco millimeter pages, but that project proved to be overwhelming and I would lose a lot of flexibility for adding new coins.

I'd really like to finish this project.

You can see there are still far too many "To be added" there yet. I suspect I won't do it this year -- maybe 3 years

I'm going to work on Peace dollars and my 7070.
Also reduce extras that just take up space like 41-74 cents folders, extra State Quarter sets, etc.etc.

I'll put the focus to my main collection: 20th century European coins by type. I won't buy any silver coins at these prices but will pull all out of 0,20 / each bins:) I'll donate all the rest pre euro markka coins for WWII veterans (special campaign here in Finland before exchange period ends).

From aggressive to realistic:

Grade coins with 75% accuracy.
Properly network myself with the dealers and collectors within driving range.
Know the history on and be able to properly identify Trade dollars, SLQ's, and Walking Liberty halves of all grades.

I have mainly Australian coins but want to get into American coins in 2012. Our coins only date back to 1910. I love the idea of a 200 year old coin. I love copper coins so think pennies are a good place to start.

My goal is to complete from start to finish a Liberty V nickel MS set and to complete my 7070 six coins missing as of today. I also have to work on learning how to grade coins on the fly without having to refer to a book to often.
