@fkl118, local POs have this coin for sale. I do not know where are you located. But in Toronto, you can easily get one. It seems people around here not interested in the stampede coin.

Did you see the one linked to in the ebay auction? It is not the quarter, but a silver dollar. There were some leaked pictures of these latest releases a while back that have since been deleted. This coin was there, but I don't recall seeing it for sale ever. It looks pretty nice. Better than the current ones available.

I saw it at least at three different POs in my area. and I think this coin is exclusive for CP only, therefore you can't find it on the mint website.

Thanks, I'll have a look around this weekend if I can.
Otherwise I'll wait for it to show up on the CP website.

I don't think they post every new coin on the website. Some they don't. Have you ever seen the "glow in the dark coin" available to order on the CP website?

Haven't seen it myself in GTA but maybe it just arrived. Interesting, CP exclusive, but not on the CP website.

Well, may be it will show up on the website later. End of this month, I guess. But may be not, who knows. Local Pos for sure already have in coin for sale, but not in a large quantity. Each location only has a few. I saw one location has only 1, the other has 2.

Just spoke with a Rep at the RCM, he acknowledged that the coin is coming "this Summer" and that it will be listed on the RCM website. He was surprised to learn that it was available at Canada Post because it was not yet officially released; equally surprised it was listed on ebay. I looked at the ebay listing, it lists a late July, early August delivery date. Sounds like this person doesn't actually have the coin "in stock" as the listing claims. Very curious... I hope the Rep was accurate and that it will soon be available on the RCM site - I've been waiting for this one!

It is easy to verify. Members of this forum who live in Canada, please take a little time to vist the POs around your area. And let us know if you can find this coin. Give me thumbs up if I am right.

@BiBo: I wasn't questioning your report of the coin being available at your local post office. I just checked with the RCM to see if it will ever be available from them so that I would have a way of getting one down here in the US. During the call the RCM Rep expressed his surprise that they were available before their official release. That's it!

I don't doubt that the silver dollar is out there already. There are now a couple listings, including one from a dealer, that shows new pictures.
I wouldn't pay a premium for this now as there will be 10,000 out there soon enough. It would be nice to get it before the Stampede though.

Link on ebay says IN STOCK and also seems to be an actual photo, not web image... @BiBo Do you know how much CP is selling them? Anyone remember how much RCM listed them when it was leaked?

@zennon PO sale ot for 69.95. This is 1/2 oz. @Tocoins, I think Zennon talk about the Silver Coin, not the 25c stamp set.
