Thanks, these are the ten survivors out of 50. They around MS+ so that's why I kept them.

How do you feel about the date and mint mark on the edge? Although the date can be determined fairly easy if you know when a particular design was minted, but I find that looking for the mint mark is a real pain especially once the coin is in a holder. Any thoughts?

I had to grad one of my red-books. I didn't know what year the coin was because I just put it in the holder. So I really hate the letters on the end!

That, coupled with the lack of quality circulation finds, is why I am only collecting these in proof by date.

Dumb idea. Especially since in roll hunting halves I see the edges of coins are very susceptible to wear. I see quite a few JFKs with flat edges, and suspect the softer metal in the dollars will be worse.
