Hey solotime, good, I felt bad, I didn't want you to think I was trying to brag or thread steal. Any updates yet? My order still says prosessing, but mine also got stuck somewhere or something as it shipped even slower than registered usually takes.. But I've talked to ANACS and there still honoring my free grades as my package was postmarked well before the 14'th deadline, although they just received it the other day, and it was an obvious shipping error.. So thankfully there still doing it. But anyways I just wanted to see if you got your grades yet?

Mine are still waiting for the 15 days to go by. ANACS got them on the 12th I believe. They charged me the money though.
When I login my account it don't say anything. But they did email me and they got them.
I'm expecting them to come on the 7th.

My expected ship date is the 8th... So we all should be getting them around the same time. Quick question... Do you guys consider Fed-Ex or USPS to be faster & safer?

Quote: Do you guys consider Fed-Ex or USPS to be faster & safer? Ive never used Fed-Ex but do use USPS a lot. For submissions if its high value but under the 5k insurance limit I use the express mail flat rate envelopes. For not so high value Ill sometimes use the priority ones. I usually send to PCGS and where I am priority mail is only a two day delivery time. I think NGC does it too, but I know for a fact PCGS ships back USPS priority mail for up to like 10k I believe so they obviously have faith in them. CAC uses USPS too though they ship registered mail.

What is the turn a round time for ANACS as compared to PCGS?

The projected times are about the same as PCGS. ANACS can end up being quicker when PCGS has a backlog and falls behind their projected times. I think the one big difference is it looks like ANACS does the 5oz pucks in 5 days.

@Not minted to be, I am not sure but I think it's the same.
I'm pretty sure you can only USE USPS because ANACS uses the P.O box. I was going to use UPS they can't deliver it.
ANACS returns it with FedEx.
I will call ANACS tomorrow to find out when my order will ship for 100% right date.

ANACS will accept UPS delivery, just call them and they will give you the non-P.O. box address. I done this many times.

I've had ANACS take 5-10 days to turn around an order and I've waited over 30 days on a similar order. I would imagine they are getting a lot of submissions this month due to the "Insider Deal" I had mine packaged up and ready to go - then forgot to take them to the post office so I missed out on the freebies this time around (dang it). But I'd expect a longer than normal wait on coins this month due to the deal.

Something else to consider is if a MAJOR coin show has just taken place...like Philadelphia just wrapped up over the week and Long Beach is this week.

@oih82w8, I live right in Pa but Philadelphia is like 60 miles or so away. I didn't get to go there... @Edmike, good luck on those grades! The quarter eagles aren't easy to grade, lol. @West, that sucks! Maybe next time you will remember and get to use the offer. @Talk, thanks! Next time I will know. About to go call ANACS right now, will edit my post if any news about my coins. *Added* A lady said they should be shipping the 2nd of October! I say now it's the 5th at most unless FedEx is slow.

Wow, 61? Looked like it could go higher.
Did you call for your grades or did you call to find out? When I click order status, and then the order number, it says: "in prosess.... Grading" along the top in the blue stripe.. But I'm really curious to see why they did!
