coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 11/21/2007 4:42 pm Agreed with the die break. Cracks eventually develop in to chips and later into breaks. I wondered why this progression, but considered that the crack ran deeper into the die and left more of a gap to fill with unshaped area. Leaving a raised area where the die was not placing pressure on. Reading a few other threads from past posts about this same thing, coppercoins states: nothing but a crack.
