I just posted the grade for my 1879-S Morgan (link below) and figured I'd post another coin for grading. This time an 1882-S which was purchased in February 2015 off ebay and then sent out for grading.

I am at 64+ due to the heavy contact mark by the arrowheads. Another beauty.

Good shot at 66 if PCGS overlooked the tracks at the arrow heads.

Nice looking coin. The face and in front of face is nice. Agree with above some marks behind head and tracks on reverse would keep from 66. So MS65. I really believe they are tougher on more common date Morgans.

I'd say PCGS gave it a 66. I'd probably give it a 65+. Barely any chatter on the cheek or high points, just some in the fields. Beautiful coin.

the 82S is known for Sharp and bold strikes which this has. I have to take into account the tracks on the reverse and marks behind the cap as they are prime focal areas. I think those may hold it to MS64+
