Hello, I have a heavily clashed die 1882 CC, there are distinctive clash marks everywhere, including below the "chin" of the eagle and right above its head. I looked and can't seem to find this particular clash. I would think such defined clashes would be a VAM. A new variety maybe.......
Ha wow, I was joking about the term "bearded" I didn't know it was an actual thing. Thank you so much for that info. I looked in VAM world but didn't come to that page you linked, thats great. Thanks
It's hard for me to tell which VAM it is, sorry. The link shows eight varieties of the clash under eagle's head. I can't tell if your's is double clashed like the 2C2. They are all cool.
Sometimes coins are given descriptive names. There's also a bearded lady.
