Hello, I have a heavily clashed die 1882 CC, there are distinctive clash marks everywhere, including below the "chin" of the eagle and right above its head. I looked and can't seem to find this particular clash. I would think such defined clashes would be a VAM. A new variety maybe.......

Clashes by themselves do not define a VAM. It has to also have letter transfer. Look closer.

As far as I can tell it's a VAM 2c2, a Top 40 VAM!

It's hard for me to tell which VAM it is, sorry. The link shows eight varieties of the clash under eagle's head. I can't tell if your's is double clashed like the 2C2. They are all cool.

Sometimes coins are given descriptive names. There's also a bearded lady.

I have a 2C3...
