Found this a while back searching new rolls appears to be a rim to rim die crack I think it's kinda neat just thought I'd share.

I am thinking linear trail gas bubble. A plating issue if not a bubble.

For die cracks I expect to see the actual crack lines. I don't see that here. I think John1 may be closer to the mark.

Possible die crack, not thinking linear plating bubble. A close-in pic or two taken at an angle (not vertical) might be helpful.

Linear plating bubble sounds good, but yes, a better picture would be helpful.

If it was a die crack, there would likely be more than one of that die in the roll.
