2022 Penny Markings ? - Coin Community Forum

mrwiskers Pillar of the Community United States 1780 Posts	Posted 10/04/2024 07:07 am Hello, trinnitoo @ ... those do look like air bubbles that can occur, & they raise the copper plating, giving such an appearance ... they don't really add any value to the coin ... although someone may give a few bucks for really glaring examples ... ...there are topics here that explain what true minting errors are, & which ones carry any premium (some do not, such as ' Machine Doubling', lamination bubbles, & others...) ...use the "search" bar for "minting errors", & dive into the topics ... ...good observation on this one...don't get discouraged, & happy hunting ...
