Hello all,
Can anyone explain these markings on this penny? I found several with the exact markings and the letters G and O in GOD is thinner in all of them , thanks

@trin, those might be linear plating bubbles in front of Abe.

Hello, trinnitoo @ ... those do look like air bubbles that can occur, & they raise the copper plating, giving such an appearance ... they don't really add any value to the coin ... although someone may give a few bucks for really glaring examples ...
...there are topics here that explain what true minting errors are, & which ones carry any premium (some do not, such as ' Machine Doubling', lamination bubbles, & others...)
...use the "search" bar for "minting errors", & dive into the topics ...
...good observation on this one...don't get discouraged, & happy hunting ...

First thing that came to mind was finger feeder damage, but I do not think that is it. I have seen this here on CCF before.

Hi everyone,
I tried getting better photos but it's not bubbles, there are holes and all in the same place, could be what Errers and Variety's mentioned also only on these are the G and O in GOD is thinner on top, non of the regular coins are like that, thanks
