Quote: Do you know the first prefix that her signature appears on the £20 Rob? Sorry, I don't. I was unaware that her notes were even in circulation until I got this one, and it was the only Cleland banknote among the notes I withdrew. Quote: I have the £5 & the £50 but have not been able to get a decent UNC £10 or £20 KCIII. The £20 notes are around, but I've seen very few Charles III £10 notes so far.

Quote: Do you know the first prefix that her [Cleland] signature appears on the [KCIII] £20? As far as I know: It's the prefix on the note in Rob's note/picture: EJJohn's signature is on the first KCIII notes. Prefix ''EH'' for £20.

Quote: but I've seen very few Charles III £10 notes so far. This is not surprising. Total number of £10 notes in circulation was 1,295 billion (=1295 million) in February 2026. Between March 2024 and February 2026 only 12,6 Million new £10 notes entered circulation. 12,2 Million from March 2024 till February 2025 and merely 0,4 Million from March 2025 till February 2026. So, less than 1% of £10 banknotes are ''new.''

Love that Charles III banknote, NumisRob! The only banknote I have with the king is a £10 note my friend brought home from the UK in 2024.

I recently acquired 100 different banknotes from Banknote World. I'm going to post them all in this thread since this is a new acquisitions thread. I promise not to be too obnoxious with the frequency of posts. Here are the first ..2 What is very interesting about these two examples is the serial numbers. Note (pun intended) that the number starts small and then gets large. 123 A very clever security feature. 1990 Sri Lanka 20 rupees 128mm x 67mm, Crisp uncirculated P-123 1990 Guine-Bissau 50 Pesos 117mm x 60mm, Crisp uncirculated P-10
