I also noticed that no mint mark is on this coin. The only other quarters without a mint mark for 2010 are in collector sets. Any comments on that quarter in the sets becoming a mule?

I had no difficulty buying 4 rolls, the post offices don't seem to have any limit...one clerk said she had too many and wanted to get rid of them, I could have bought $1000 worth. Anyone need 4,000 rolls?

A mule is where a coin is made using an obverse die and a reverse die not intended to be used together. In this case, the coin was correctly made with those dies so it is not a mule.

correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Winnipeg only minted collectors' sets and specialty items

It's the other way around, Ottawa does the fancy collector stuff and precious metals while Wpg makes the circs. I haven't seen a paper roll from the mint in years. I thought all the equipment was automated to use plastic. Maybe they use paper if they run out of plastic or they have an overflow and send coins to an older rolling machine on the side or something. Excellent question for my next mint tour!

post offices were asked to make these coins available to as many people as possible, that's why some places have a limit, they are trying to give a coin to everyone that wants one. This is especially true in small towns. However other post offices find these coins a lot of bother and would just as soon get rid of them as soon as possible.
I think you will see the limits disappear once public interest has died down
If you want rolls try larger communities not small towns.

I was able to pick up a total of 20 different rolls from two different postal outlets on my way home from work. I'm not sure if I'll need or want that many but I only paid face value for them, so why not

My rolls have the queen on both end - can't see the coin itself. Any reason why this would be? Is there a special term for that?

The lady at the post office asked (when I went in for the 3rd time) if I was selling them on ebay. I asked, "Should I be?" ... apparently there are a few other people in town who do...

On page 2, the picture, that malibu has shown of the horizontal dots, shows a close up of the poppys. On some of the quarters that I have, there are two dots at the ends of the horizontal line of dots, and on some of the quarters, there is only one dot at the ends of the horizontal line of dots. Are there many other coins out there that anyone in the community have come across?

20 rolls of poppy quarters, 800 poppy quarters in total. $200 worth of poppy quarters.
I'm not sure how else to explain it
