SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 08/25/2011 12:31 am Yeah, $500's a great price....for him. For you, it's more than twice what you'd have to pay just about anywhere else. My favorite price datapoint, Heritage Auctions, has offered 129 of these (1883-CC's in MS64 slabs) in 2011 alone, and the going rate is just above $200 unless a bidding frenzy happens. Even then, the frenzy stops at $250. $500 is MS64DMPL, in a slab. Report this Post to the Staff
delaner Pillar of the Community United States 870 Posts	Posted 08/25/2011 01:15 am I always check Teletrade for Morgan prices; they do a high volume of them and even though you can't see them in person, you certainly get a good idea of what a good "street price" is for them.
