awildeheart Valued Member Australia 295 Posts	Posted 04/20/2014 06:09 am Hey, I think I have the answer. Just watching the Penn and Teller show and a magician did a trick using coins and cards. The secret of the trick turned out to be that he was wearing a ring on each hand and both the rings and the coins were magnetised to enable the trick to work. Your coin could be an ex-trick coin. There were plenty of side show magicians in the early days - and probably just as many hustlers as well - and the coins had to look real for the trick to work. Report this Post to the Staff
