Yes - a gouge in the metal as you can see the metal pushed up on to the sides of it.

Here is a list I once posted of what I used to look for when rollhunting Kennedy halves.

In the clashed dies I found some I called Rhino Horns b/c the clash gives JFK a horn halfway down his nose. I used this as a pick-up point for the clashes.

Here is an extreme one that shows more than the large middle horn.
