Please see image---

Is this a DDO or just strike doubled?

Thanks for your input, feedback and opinions!

It's MD. The 1984 DDO has prominent doubling of the ear lobe.

This is a case of Strike Doubling, just as Vermontensium says...HOWEVER...

There are other 1984 doubled dies than JUST the doubled ear - and the possibility exists that there could be many more yet undiscovered different doubled dies for 1984. So keep looking, and don't JUST look at the ear.

What is that NW line running through the bust? Could just be a scratch or a stain?
