Ah, exactly the two series I'm slowly piecing together. I'd give the Barber dime a F-15. VF requires every letter in LIBERTY visible, without weakness. The Buffalo nickel looks like an AU-50... but then again, I find buffalos more difficult to grade.

I would say F-12 on the Barber dime, and maybe AU-50 on the nickel. I also agree with the other poster, who said that Buffalo nickels are hard to grade!

this site was made by a YN on another forum I frequent and she (thats right I said she) has a very good site about how to grade Buffalo nickels, just click the grading link http://www.geocities.com/quirkybuffalos/ I would say your Type 1 Buffalo is an AU-55

AHH MAN!!! I saw 1913 Nickel and for some reason "V" nickel came to mind and I actually thought someone on this forum had one and I was gonna get to see it
