Perffesor I like the sound of that, I'd have to order 5 of them. But with that low of a mintage. Its almost certain their'd be a 1 per house hold limit. I vote one of the key's be a Rev PF5oz SAE w/ P MM. Or maybe a 3oz for 30th ANV. That would be pretty neat.

I like the sound of a 3 ounce coin for the 30th anniversary. Does the mint take suggestions?
Does anyone else want to hazard a guess on what HSN will sell these sets for when they get them?

I'm going to revise my estimate. I think that the reverse proof will end up going for $450-500, and the 2011-S will end up going for $300-350. So $750-850 plus $185 for the other 3.... around $850-1000 per set. Probably closer to $850 for raw and $1000 for graded. Maybe it's a good thing ebay pulled my auctions!

ebay yanked my four that I had listed (one per night; thur, fri, sat and sun) and they had high bids of over 400 each. I hope that they will fetch that much (or more) when we get them in hand.

They will sell for as much as 5 times purchase price during the feeding frenzy then settle back to 2 to 3 times your purchase price. That is what the 2006 three coin set did.

Why hasn't the mint taken the money from my account yet? Especially since my order is now "in process?"

Mint does not charge your card until they are in the shipping bag and UPS or FedEx are backed up to the door.

I would like to revise my guesstimate on the value of the Anniversary set, Being they are selling on the secondary market now for between 6-800.00 dollars per set. I think as history has shown, that during the "in hand now" frenzy the prices could go up a little more and level off around $600.00, for those who were able to acquire a set or sets good for you!!

I was able to sell my 5 sets for $3600, so $720 per set. I decided to liquidate now as I think the prices will be highest while there is a feeding frenzy from all the collectors and dealers. My girlfriend got 3, so I still have one to hold onto as I do enjoy the collecting aspect as well. If the price goes up, I'm still happy, if down, I'm really happy. Long term, I would estimate around $550-$650. It's hard to compare the 2006 set. The reverse proof is worth about $250 which makes up the vast majority of the set's value. However, with this set, you can't just say, that set tripled, so will this set or more as it's a lower mintage. As the set gets more expensive, fewer people are willing to pay that much per set. I think there will be very strong collector demand around the $500 mark, but the sets will probably end up closer to $600-$650. In essence, if you buy the set later, you will really only be paying for the two unique coins.

@ mr_slow: What is your reasoning if I may ask? Are you thinking this is still a good buy situation and the prices will continue to climb?

It took 10 months for the 20th anniversary set prices to peak, should be the same with these. Of course, the first few days here is just pure coin addiction, throw a couple of beers in on a Friday night and it's just something people have got to have. Tonight I'm seeing 725-825 for individual sets.

So now a lot of members are getting their sets.
If your selling your extra sets what price are you getting?
I you did not get a set .. and your buying .. what did/are you paying.
I missed getting my sets today .. I will stay home all day tomorrow to get the package. I am still not sure what to do with my 5 sets.

Well, I have no idea what they will eventually be worth, but I am now getting an idea what a graded site set can be worth. I saw a set graded MS69 by NGC go for $1275 last night on ebay, and the same seller now has a set of MS70 coins with a buy it now price of over $1900. I suspect that had I sent in my sets to be graded they would have come back as a mixture of grades, and perhaps even lower than MS69, but it still makes me think that maybe I should have gone that route after all...
