This isn't a lens but if you are looking for a bellows this one is brilliant, despite being Minolta SR (MC/MD) mount. Has just under 200mm extension and tilt function. Current retail price(second hand) is around US$300 -$400. I don't know the seller http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MINOLTA-A...054897.l4275

Well, that one ended for a good price. I have a couple of them with the focus rail and macro stand, and they are indeed very nice. Here is another deal on similar bellows, this one with the 100mm Bellows Lens: http://www.ebay.com/itm/12148079759...RK:MEBIDX:ITNote that neither the one that sold earlier, nor the one linked above, include the focus rail. This makes it tough to use the bellows for macro focusing. You can move the front and rear standards to focus but more traditional full-lens movement will require the focus rail. One thing interesting about the Minolta AB3 system is it is the only macro bellows stand system that truly takes advantage of the focus rail. All the others I've tried mount the bellows in such a way as to leave the focus rail inoperable. But the Minolta system mounts the bellows to the stand using the focus rail, so you can move the entire bellows assembly up and down for focusing. This makes it IMO the best bellows/macro stand system available.

WOW with the 100mm Bellows lens that one is a steal if it sells at that price!! Except I don't think it will I have an example of that lens and a novoflex 105mm bellows lens. The minolta is certainly the better lens and is well worth having { my 105mm novoflex is currently listed on ebay). YOu can get the focusing rail that minolta made for that tilt bellows. I haven't tried that particular bellows yet( I purchased an example last week on ebay)

We'll see about selling price. I've been shocked at the low prices realized on many ebay items recently. Plus this one has some red flags...seller has zero feedback...no return policy... By the way, take a close look at his pictures. He has given them a "grainy" look on the details. Does anyone know how to process images to give that look? This must be some sort of Photoshop processed output or some other program.

I don't trust purchasing from sellers with zero feedback and grainy pictures. I would think that if I were trying to make my very first sell on ebay I would put my best foot forward to make the listing great.

But ebay has changed the rules. So long as you pay by pay pal... you are extremely well protected. Paypal does not release the funds to the seller for 21 days. If you not happy with the purchase you will get your money back safely.

Even so, most buyers still shy away from a zero feedback, no returns situation. I'd say it's 50/50 the auction does not get any bids at all, even though it is clearly an excellent deal.

I saw that one! It's similar to the very first macro bellows setup I purchased. The "standard" setup from Canon was the FD Bellows, 20mm Macrophoto lens, FD-EOS macro adapter (no glass), Angle Finder B, and Dual Cable Release. Back a few years ago I bought that exact setup for $275, and it launched me down the macro bellows path. You can see the whole setup, along with the details for the 20mm and 35mm Macrophoto lenses, on the mir.com website here: http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photograph...035macro.htm

That is the classic PB4 bellows with Tilt and Shift capability. It comes with a lot of accessories as well.
The lenses in the auction are Wollensak Raptars, a 38mm and a 12mm. These are Cinematography lenses. A popular way of doing macro photography is to reverse a "cine" lens. They have fairly short register distances due to their C-mount attachment, but in reverse the register distance becomes the working distance. Don't expect flat field performance, but if you do focus stacking this is not so relevant.
The auction is not a buy it now, so it will probably not sell for a true bargain price, but it is a very nice setup nevertheless.

This one may not seem cheap and its probably a specialists lens. I have an example, for a 50mm it really impresses me ( but my other 50mm is 40 years old so I may not know any better). I thought I would share this ebay sale as though it may be expensive the whole package is a bargain: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331471669022Although the seller advertises it as just a lens with M42 adapter its actually a lens, adapter and focusing helicoid. The lens retails at US$650, the Focusing Helicoid (its the unifoc 12 probably best for APSc) sells new US$495 and the adapter( V mount to T2) costs new $75.00.
