How many are saving the 'high/low' 1977 five cents, and the 1996 'near/far' 6 ?, and do you think it is any sense to, will they be worth anything in the future, like the 1926 near/far.

Give me your opinions.

Hi, motoryoda, the reason I asked is that I have about 10 rolls of each and, was wondering if I should just sell the 1977s for there nickel value.

The 1977 low are very common, but it's not easy finding one in MS-63 or higher condition. As far as I know, they were a circulation strike only.

The 1996 far six is also very common, but is incredibly difficult to find in a high MS condition. I have a few in particularly good condition. Again, as far as I know, they were a circulation strike only.

Both the '77 low and '96 far are worth keeping if they are in MS condition, especially the '96. Not that long ago I searched through about a dozen rolls of 77's and found one coin worth putting into a flip, and it is an MS-63 at best.
