Does it have wear? A coin that is worn will have less metal on it because some of the metal has been worn off.

I would be willing to bet that .2 grams is easily with in the tolerance especially if you consider a worn coin. When I first started hunting for silver I thought I was going to be slick and weigh all my rolls and the ones that weighed more had silver in them! Trust me...that doesn't work...lol..

0.2 grams is definitely within the mint tolerance. Look at the color of the coin and compare it to others from the same era, both clad silver and clad coins. You should be able to see the difference in color between the clad silver and clad coins pretty easily. Your 1969 should be a clad silver coin (1965-1970) - not a clad coin (1971-date).

Some scales can also be incorrect when measuring small differences.

You can't tell the difference between 40% and coppernickel clad by weight because the mint tolerances overlap. You would have to use a specific gravity test to tell them apart with absolute certainty.
