Materiel: CopperNickel with application?

Sounds like a dollar coin with a color sticker over the bust. But where do they come up with these coins being coppernickel?

these make the Presidential dollars look so much better and usually I hate painted coins
Nice look to them in my opinion

They could at least use better portraits for the decals- it's just too cartoonish.

I personally don't care too much for the colorized coins, but I have to admit this one looks like it has potential if sold for the right price.
