Number 3 This is my absolute favorite eye-appeal coin! => It has just the right amount of toning around its outter ring ... the color and hue of the toning seems perfect to me ... and it has just the right amount of knicks and dings to keep it honest! Some may say it is cluttered but I like all the intricate portions of this one. 1935 s Texas Commemorative half.

My #3: 1918 silver tallero from Eritrea when it wan an Italian colony. This lovely 40mm coin with a relatively low mintage of 510k was intended to compete with the very popular, widely circulating Maria Theresa thaler. IMHO the tallero is a better looking coin but unfortunately it never gained wide appeal.
