Number 2
=> "The Triplets" (In 1900 & 1902, the mint printed "3" versions of the Dominion of Canada $4 bill ... yup, a "4" dollar bill!)
sure, they may not be coins, but I am still entering the Triplets as my #2 pick (hey, it's the flip-side of my collection!)
The portraits on the notes are of Lady & Lord Minto (he was the 8th Governor General of Canada, from 1898-1904)
a) DC-16 (only "420,000" printed in 1900 ... and only "154" notes are currently registered with the Canadian Paper Money Society) ... note that the boat is black on top, with white on the bottom of it (US side of the Sault Ste. Marie locks)

b) DC-17a (only "440,000" printed in 1902 ... and only "63" notes are currently registered with the Canadian Paper Money Society) ... note that the boat is now white on top, with black on the bottom of it (and now shows the "Canadian" side of the Sault Ste. Marie locks)

c) DC-17b (there were 1,636,000 printed in 1902 ... but only "204" notes are currently registered with the Canadian Paper Money Society) ... note that the "4's" at the top of the note have been changed to "FOUR's" (and vice versa)

The backs of the notes show the Parliament Buildings and the Library, viewed from Nepean Point

... well, I hope that you coin-folks enjoyed a brief break?
