just found approx 2/3rds the weight of a regular 1989 1mm smaller in diamater and extremely thin in the centre. Actually I bent it alittle by accident.

From what I know, it looks like an acid bath. The thickness of the coin is directly affected by that treatment. Unfortunately I have several coppers from other years that reflect the same thing.
