A couple more. Corners are sharp. No creases. Any idea how these might grade and the value? Thanks.

They definetly look UNC... that $2 note has some fantastic eye appeal with it's colours... it's nice to see it retain the colours so well for so long...

Holy Toledo..!! I had no idea the 54 DF was worth that kind of money... sure ...Please check ..if you happen to have a book on such bills.

I guess that's what I meant by "special value".. I was wondering just how much over face they might be worth..

I'm still shocked by your 54 evaluation..That 100 probably needs to go for grading now...

Thanks again..

Devlec: this is a copy paste job right from coins and canada...

G VG F VF EF AU Unc CUnc GUnc
$110 $120 $140 $175 $250 $500 $1025 $1200 $1400

Knock off approx 20-30% if you needed a rush sale...

There still is a lot of hype regarding the devils face.. so while the printing numbers were pretty high they are very sought after... I know for a fact I don't have an UNC $100 DF....

I'm glad to be the bearer of good news... if you're going to the show.. talk to Don Olmstead he's a GREAT guy to talk to about notes and is bang on with grading...

The Devils Head $100 looks to be around EF (Could go AU - can you post some images of the back), and the '37 $100 would be VF.

That $2 note above has amazing appeal. It looks like it was printed this morning.. a very pretty note..

Here are the requested flip sides and a few more..The 100 DF is very crisp ...as are most of the others here.

Thanks for the new pictures.

I will stick to my original guess, and say the note is EF.

You have some nice notes in your collection.

If you look along the edges you can see signs of wear, small creases, folds, and general signs of handling.

If it were sent to BCS, I would expect a EF-45.

Agreed - It's tough to grade banknotes from pictures, but that $100 DF looks EF to me as well.

Fair enough.. I thought there had to be at least one fold before it went to EF... but what you're saying makes total sense...

The Moore's auction has an AU DF 100 and it does look better than mine showing here and mine does show a touch of a crease in the bottom edge here whereas the AU doesn't.

My note has a lower serial # than the AU note though.

You're the experts and I do agree with your grading..Thanks for helping out ...

.... and if anyone here has a ton of spare money and likes collecting Canadian paper money,..then you could have a lot of fun at this upcoming auction..

Some of the rarest that I've ever seen or heard of..

So I really don't think I shared much on the forum.... but I said that I was... well these two notes came in the mail today.. they were looking for a new home... I think I will keep them for a few decades as they look very very nice and will make a great addition to some of my other notes...
