Hi, This coin is housed in an old PCGS holder. I am debating wether or not it is worth re submitting with a group I am sending in. I hope the pics come out ok. I have the hardest time trying to get them on ok. Thanks for the help, Bob

Here is a closer pic. The others I tried did not upload....Groan, I really have to learn how to do this. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Looks solid mint state but the spots and marks in the fields and on Liberty's cheek are noticeable. Strike also seems weak over Liberty's ear and on the eagle's breast; not the typical sharp CC Morgan detail. I'd say this one would top out at MS-63. Assuming it's already in a mint-state holder I don't think it would be worth investing a re-grading fee.

I agree. There is very little gain going from MS62 to MS63 or 63 to 64. If this holder says MS64 on it , leave it. It would not make MS65 in my opinion. Chances are if it's in an old green holder still, it's because of the previously stated facts.

You guys were on the money. I will not bother sending it in. I will put it on ebay and use the money towards an ms 65 coin. Thanks for the help, Bob

Wow, that pic looks lousy. I need to spend some serious time getting better at this.

I'm glad to hear you're turning this one back for a better one. There is much better out there and lots of them.

I think this could make MS-64.

I think 63 is a good call, I think the scuffs on the neck would keep it from 64
