Ok, mentioned in another post that I just joined up. Now, I'd like to get an opinion from the 'seasoned' vets here. I have here an 1854 Seated Liberty half dollar. In viewing it and upon 'MY' closer examination, I'm thinking it could get a grade of Good to Very Good. (I'm still doing homework on figuring out the number system.) Anyway, feel free to give it a look over and give me a HO on a 'grade'. More pics can be provided, thanks!

G-6, so in between Good and Very Good. No major problems, looks alright. Nice coin!

Thank you! This coin was found in a cigar box that I received in a estate sale (family related) a while back. My next question is, whats a good site one could browse to learn the numbering system in grading? I understand what G,VG,F,VF,XF,AU, and MS means but still trying to learn the numbers in relation to the letter grade. I do quite a bit of reading on here, Coinstudy, and Numismedia but I just don't get the numbers. Thanks again.
