I just finished with Bag #1. I was very happy with the results. Although I didn't find any Silver in this bag I did find 20 Rolls ($400) of 1976-D that are all BU. Didn't check for Type 1 or 2. Haven't decided what to do with them yet. I found a couple of great looking 1973's. And I added to the Proofs found. The 77 and 78 are from tonight's bag. To date I have found: 3 1973-D 1 1973-P 5 Proofs (pictured above) 6 Morgans (Sold on E-bay) 6 Peace (Sold on E-bay) 1 Fake Morgan 2 Fake Mexican Coins

Nice finds! Good to see some proofs and keep in mind that the 1973 coins were only issued in mint sets.

So you have found 12 90% silver dollars for $1 each? If you start feeling an urge to contact me and hook me up with some unsearched bags of Ikes, its because my jealousy has helped me develop telekinetic powers.

Ill sell my unsearched bags, but given the number and quality of '72 T2's I am finding, I would want a 40% premium over face.

My local Coin Store knows that I like Ikes and gave me a 1973-D still in the Mint cello as change about 2 months ago. Gotta love that. They have also sold me a few 73 Mint Sets at CDN prices. Far cheaper than E-bay. Quote: So you have found 12 90% silver dollars for $1 each? I was very excited to see all the Silver. I made quite a profit from just the 12 coins.

I'm on the east coast Bernie, it's a small regional business bank on the West coast. They are my business bank. I would prefer not to mention their name. Because I think the vault teller may catch some flack if there were too much attention drawn to this. I have asked other branches of this bank to order for me and was told they could not be ordered. I think most tellers do not want to check. But they can be ordered. All of these bags have been from Brinks. I have ordered Halves from them in the past and they have been from both Garda and Brinks. I think they have a contract with both companies. I recently saw a Loomis truck in the parking lot. I don't know if it was for the Bank or another nearby business. I know it's just a matter of time before she will be told not to order them anymore. I don't want to burn this bridge. I hope you will understand.

I understand. Thx for the info. I have accounts at several banks. I'm sure I could get one of them to order for me.

This is actually the 2nd fake Morgan I've found. I'll see if I can find pics of the 1st and I'll take some of the 2nd.

It looks like I deleted my photos of my first fake Morgan. But I finally tracked down the pic of it from an old post. Here is a link: https://goccf.com/t/22710&whichpage=873I'll take some photos of the 2nd one soon.

Wow, that's really interesting. A mintmark that didn't belong. Odd.
I didn't think coins like morgans were often counterfeited.

Counterfeit or not, I would have loved to have had that Morgan. I have a counterfeit penny somewhere.. it is a poorly done cast and its not even copper in color.
