I got another 2 bags of Ikes in today. When I was looking at the bag I saw a 1870 Liberty Seated dollar through the bag. I quickly grabbed a magnet and the coin stuck to the magnet, another chinese fake :( I did go through other other bag and found through the first 200 Ikes a bunch of uncirculated ones like they came off the press. Nice toning and no dents. I did happen to get my first silver here is a pic. 1926 S Peace dollar

Nice find, I'm surprised on the fakes, isn't that your second fake? If you can tie up some of your funds for a while throw some of those ikes on ebay, and make a few bucks. I know I could send you a list of the last 5 or 10 I need, besides the silver ones I'm missing, and buy them from you.

What bank are you getting the Ike's ? Here in Houston they always seem to say that they can only get the gold colored coins . Really jealous here !

The rest of the bag netted me 1 Proof 1976 Ike, another token (Casino I believe, can't make it out). Another magnetic coin-a fake quarter dated 1865 (but a George Washington Style Quarter 1932-1998) the size of an Ike. And I have 1 bag left to go for tomorrow.

CoinMania, This is killing me to read this. Its awesome what you are able to get your hands on. You really should go and get all of these that you can because this opportunity isn't available to most parts of the country. I'm not asking for your address but can you at least give your state or region? Are you ordering these from a regional/local bank or one of the big boys? Are the coins coming from 'in-house' or do you have to wait for the courier to bring them to you? Inquiring minds are dying to know :)

When I was dumping my halves today I saw some Ikes in a tellers tray. Turns out that 3 different tellers took some in today, I got around $50 worth.
What should I look for?, Which ones are keepers?
Thanks,
C.K.

I think I would pee myself if I had that bag of dollars. I will be asking EVERY bank I go to if they can order these.

The last bag that I pulled I found another gaming token and 2 Morgan dollars. One was a 1921 and the other I believe was a 1879. As well as a few rolls worth of BU 1976 IKES. I still can get more Ike's if I want but I haven't gotten anymore since the last bag I posted about. I may get a few more bags in month or two.

The Seated Liberty looks like a fake. Run a magnet over it. :-)
The others, I can't tell as the photo is not large enough.

Quote: Which ones are keepers? All of them! Honestly, I would not get rid of any of them.
