Not much been happening here in my neck of the woods lately........................................................................except..................................... a 1958 Franklin that might go as a -65FBL sitting on the top of the roll This coin looks like it just left the mint--it has a proof-like mirror to it. also found 8 40% and 2 JFK 90% in the same $1000

I had a great week. I went out about 3 hours into a rural community and picked up a total of $500 in halves from various banks. It was fat with silver.
42 -40% 10 -90%
I will sell tomorrow. All told I spent $26 on the 52 coins and will sell tomorrow for $113.00 since silver is up to $13.72. Not too shabby. I then got back from my trip and went to my bank here and picked up two boxes. NOTHING!! NADA!! Home sweet home. :)

I got in a roll, a 1929 Canadian Cent. I'm in Canada so, but still, it was embedded in a roll of all US pennies. It was an amazing find!! With george V on the obverse and a different design on the rev. Yaya!!

Welp, have some halves coming tomorrow, but thought I would try some pennies and nickels today (esp. since I got a war nick back in my change today!) Nicks - 13 50's, 8 40's, 2 39's (both P's Sad), and a few BU 60's to add to my collection Pennies - one 1906! IH in G, one BU red 57-d, and 7 other wheaties Can't wait to see if my luck holds out till tomorrow...

I got a late start this morning and I didn't bring the Barber half to work with me so I'll try to get a picture posted either tonight or tomorrow morning. It still amazes what you will find in these boxes.

Got a nice box of nickels yesterday. I'm not done going through it, but I found a 1948 Jefferson (my oldest Jefferson found in Canada), and 5 Centennial nickels/ (Rabbit on the reverse instead of the beaver). I've found all of one in the past two years, and now I find 5 (so far) in this box. Oddly enough, very few coins from pre-1960 or post-1990 in this box, but lots of 1960s in high grades, going to make for some good upgrades in the album. I'm going to have to see if they have another box just like it.

So I bought ten nickel rolls from the bank today and had a great haul! From the 200 quarters I found 6 from the 1940s, 7 from the 1950s, one buffalo (no date) and two well worn Vs. Who would wrap buffalo and V nickels? It's day like this that I know why I like the thrill of a good roll hunt!

Ok here are the pics of the 1915D Barber that I found in a roll the other day. Last night one of the boxes I opened had 11 40%, 1 90% JFK, 1 Franklin, and 1 Walking Liberty. In baseball thats called a cycle

CommandD- Those are great finds from bank rolls! You should check back with the bank ASAP and see if you can snatch up some more of those rolls!
