From an ebay auction:

"You are bidding on one roll of ANACS certified MS-65 or better gem 2009 D Lincoln Log Cabin cents. This high grade certified roll has been ultra-sonically sealed and is preserved for years to come!"

I have never heard of ANACS certifying an entire roll and sealing it in a round tube.

I know PCGS offers this service but did not know ANACS does. I don't submit rolls on a regular basis :-)

I don't see how an entire roll would grade at MS65 or better... Maybe they would grade MS or something. I have heard of certified rolls of quarters but I thought (PCGS) they just certified them as M...S

Yes they do and the HSN has sold thousands of these rolls. I wouldn't bet on all the coins grading 65 or better but it's a great marketing gimmick.

You can say that again. If one of those coins grades MS64

It looks to me like ANACS is assembling a roll by selecting coins from a number of rolls to make a "custom" roll in a sealed container.

As far as I can tell, the only benefit is a really long term payoff.

It is not for me though, having coins sealed up where I cannot fully enjoy them.

That is kinda why I asked the question. It looks like someone made it on their home computer using an return address label. You would think ANACS would do a better job with their graphics.

It's cheap if you submit millions of coins a year
