You might consider searching dimes. You won't get as lucky with the silver's, but next to halves, I think there your next best chance. Pennies are always fun to.

the 25.00 box had
12 wheats
6 Canada
1 Bahamas
a weird looking 1996 d it looks like you drop something in the water and the ripple look from the edge in.and this show on the whole coin.

I never found any Bahamas coin's, plenty of other obscure coin's. I don't know much about foriegn coin's, but I keep them all anyway. What is a s memorial? I hope I'm not over looking something. Please enlighten me.

San Fransisco mint they did cerculation coin from 1968 to 1974 they are now proof only coins 1975 to date

I didn't know that, thanks. I assumed they were all proof coins. Lately, even fiding "D" mint's seems to be rare. These copper hoarder's are eating up all the good pennies with there Ryedale's.

1000$ in halves searched. 1 1968 AU and 3 proofs 1986 s 1979s and 1974 s first proofs I ever found and the came in the same box. it was great

Finally got around to doing another box. One 1981 canadian and one 1942 Wheat cent.

i looked through just 6 rolls yesterday and found 29 wheaties.. I know whoa.

In a box of cents, I found 10 wheat cents, 6 canadian cents, and 3 S-mint memorials.

Forgot to mention that I found 780 1959-1982 copper cents!

In a box of nickels I found 30 pre 1960 nickels, a 1999 nickel with some type of obverse doubling on the date and lettering, 6x 1968-s, 2x 1969-S ANd I also found a 1943-S silver nickel.

Im picking up about $400 in halves from a few banks tuesday, pray for a roll of walkers (franklins or kennedys would nice to). Also thinking about picking up a box or two of nickels, I haven't done them yet, but I'm getting pretty intrigued by everyone's finds.
