Chaching...I just got lucky. Just came back from the bank, they had 6 rolls of halves I nabbed. In those 6 rolls I got 12 40% and 1 90%!

College life has killed my hunting career but when I go home hopefully the banks will have "recharged" their halves for me (½)

Nothing caught my eye, but I wasn't specifically looking either.

I finished searching 3 boxes of nickels. The first box was customer wrapped rolls, a complete skunk.

The second box had 2 war nicks and this Liberty Head

Not in the greatest shape but the first LH I've ever found CRH.

The 3rd box was the best, 2 more war nicks, a pre-82 Canandian('60) and these 3 Buffalos. With readable dates no less.

The best haul in a long time for me with nickels.

Bowfin- wow! Great finds! Out of curiosity, what is the face value of a box of nickels?

Went through a box of nickels on Monday. Got 42-D, 45-P, & 83-P Cud error. Best box I've had in months.

Tuesday I scrounged up $250 in halves and got 4 1964s & 4 40%. Another decent haul.

Do you mean an AA battery or a watch battery?

Face value for a box of nickels is $100.

Bowfin- yep, it was a AA battery, and it was dead too. Thanks for the info about the face of a box of nickels.

From a box of quarters, I was surprised to find a 57-D. I was actually looking for a few staties for my kids' books.

My weekly box of halves yielded two WLs (43 & 44), a Ben (51), and 5 40% JFKs. Throw in a 2005-P, and it was a pretty good box.

It seems lately that I am doing better in the bag under the counting machine. I got another 10 40% JFKs and 2 90% JFKs last week when I did my junk-coin dump.
