Bicentennial Commerative Silver Medal

commems CCF Master Historian of USA Commemoratives United States 12330 Posts	Posted 03/31/2012 4:05 pm The US Mint struck a series of bronze and silver medals for the American Revolution Bicentennial Administration (ARBA) between 1972 and 1976. I believe they were minted to the same specs as the silver National Medal with the Statue of Liberty on the obverse. So, I believe they each contain 0.925 Troy ounces of silver. I think they are attractive medals - especially in silver - and make a great supplement to a collection of our bicentennial coinage. Hope that helps! Collecting history one coin or medal at a time!
