With some of the detail worn off, and the rest worn flat, I would guess this coin is around VG condition.

Coincraft (1998) lists two varieties for 1687 Crown, with different flan diameters.
The lowest condition listed in Coin-craft is for Fine condition, where the smaller diameter (39mm) coin is valued at 80 Pounds, and the larger (41mm) at 110 Pounds.

i don't now our source to be honest, but looks like coincraft gives very low value on these coins. I an bet that this coin can be sold in 1 hour for the money they valuate. James II crown is not so common as Charles II or William III and in VG condition usualy sells at around 200GPB on ebay, not less.

It must be remembered that the Coincraft catalogue to which I have referred is now 14 years old, but it hasn't been updated.

yeah, I know, but if you take a quick look on ebay:

you can see that 200GPB is minimum what you need to add this coin to collection.
So now it is though desicion to me, what mine ca be worth..

All of these four coins have very high values in top condition, but in lesser condition, are at least affordable to collectors like myself.

English / British milled silver crowns can be worth less than 100 pounds in G or VG condition, and low thousands of pounds in VF or better condition. Very steep value rises with increasing better grades.
