So does that mean when a new batch is created, they went to fullfill retailer orders first, then RCM's own web and phone orders?

I won't claim to know exactly how the orders are processed and shipped but I find it hard to believe that it's 'random'. If that were true, the mint would have to program their systems with a 'random ship generator'. Possible yes, but highly unlikely. The most probable order is dealers and large orders first.
The theories are many. I've even heard that there is some preference based on postal code (no idea if it's specific postal codes or alphabetical). Maybe it's hair colour, maybe it's order history or maybe it's lack of order history, maybe it's alphabetical by mothers maiden name. Dunno. But random is a long shot.
Back on topic, the Lismer coin will sell out for sure. 7k holders of the first coin guarantee a sell out on the second. Question is; will it survive MC pre-order. I bet no but that it will be available for issue price at CP next week.

I think sell out for sure before public release unless they have held some back for that. I just grabbed a few myself since they are almost gone. The time to sell stormy weather will be around the 3rd or 4th coin in my opinion that's when I am selling my extras there should be fewer around by then.

I can't believe I have to clarify this, but apparently I do. When I say 'random', I mean unpredictable for us outsiders, and inconsistent. Not truly random in the scientific sense.
More on topic, I agree that each group of 7 coin is a guaranteed sellout if they don't increase the mintage, and I also suspect it will be sold out or close to it before general release.

I agree, I think the Lismer will sell out before the general release. I ordered one just to be safe. But I don't have a whole lot of confidence with their July 17 shipping date.

Quote: I order my subscription box from Gatewest Coins. Am I still guaranteed the 2nd coin? Why would you ask us but not Gatewest? ;-) PS: Did you give consent to charge your credit card in future? No? Then I'd say it's guaranteed that you're not getting 2nd coin from them by default.

Hello, for those who subscribed from the Mint directly, have you seen a new order spawned from the subscription order for the second coin? I haven't seen one for my order yet and wonder if the Mint missed that since I still haven't received the first coin and the case... Thanks.

I'm a little confused about this mintage. I remember reading in a previous post that the mintage was 7000 and 7000 sets. But on the mint website it indicates no more then 7000 coins will be minted. Was I given misinformation?

I received the first coin and case right away, but I haven't seen the second one show up as a new order yet. I wouldn't worry about it.

Regarding the question if the box was made out of real wood; the answer from the Mint is "oui".
