For me, it's #994 mated to the no-circle reverse. I'm a fan of minimalist design and judicious use of whitespace to draw out the design details, and #994 flat works for me. I kinda agree with the hair and leg detail recommendations, and I'd sure like to see that design with no denticles, a wire rim and the rays carried all the way out.
Now, that would be a coin.

It was very hard to pick, they are all very beautiful designs. Ron

I tried to sit like that. I thought I was going to break my neck. It just looks like a really awkward and painful position to me

Wow, those are all awesome! It was a tough choice but I picked #992. I like the reverse with the circle. Not crazy about the belly button, but I could live with it... Rachel

Daniel, When I was talking about the belly button I was not saying it was risque, I just think it makes the whole coin design look unattractive. Because in my opinion it makes you focus on that area of the design first instead of looking at the entire coins design other than that I think it is a wonderful design always enjoy your work.

I voted for #994 and never even noticed the belly button until I read this thread. It doesn't bother me at all. I'm thinkin' she would look better with those Roman type shoes that have the laces (or whatever they are) that wrap up the calf in a criss cross fashion. I just don't care for bare feet. Beautiful coin overall though!

Ok, I decided the hair bun had to go. I tried the free-flowing hair, but I didn't like that look either. But I think this is the one (as far as the hair is concerned):

I noticed and liked the 13 stars around the Sun, very good. But there are 14 "rays" which to me is one too many. This is fun, everyone has an opinion. She is a beauty. The idea of free flowing hair and robes would give the idea of free flowing thoughts and actions which is very hard to do with a sitting figure. We are not asking for much to make her perfect. just long hair like 1797 Draped bust half dollar, a robe like the Walking Liberty half dollar and the facial features of a Mercury dime. LOL I did vote for the plain background of 994 Can you explain the symbolism used in the design? I would think She would be sitting on the Rock of Liberty than on the Clay and morter of bricks.

LOL <<< Yes, pleasing everyone is an impossibly tall order ! By the way, the Walking Liberty "robe" is actually a US Flag. >>> Can you explain the symbolism used in the design? I would think She would be sitting on the Rock of Liberty than on the Clay and morter of bricks. <<< Of course the shield with "Liberty" on it is a traditional US Coin icon. I chose a brick pedestal as it implies a solid foundation, built by man.

dsking's comments easily could have been my own. Your work is tremendous. I liked all the designs. The only thing which didn't look right to me, as dsking mentioned, was the Eagle on the reverse. Looks like it needed a little more body.
As stated, your work is excellent. I am excited about getting the medal you designed for the Knights of the Coin Table! Keep up the good work.

O.K. now that I've seen them, you know that I'll be standing in line to get mine when they are finalized. Great job as usual and I'm looking forward to owning one (or two).
