I just canceled my October sets. With three MS70 sets two sealed and two raw and opened I think that is more then enough. I will probably end up selling my two raw sets that have been opened. I think that the MS70's are gonna be where its at. Seems to me that they are getting a lot of returns do to quality.

The 70s will be the real hot ticket for sure. At this point other than maybe keeping 1 raw set the others would be to sell after finding the silvertowne sets. I guess I could sell them as unopened or whatever, but the quality has been so iffy if I opened them I'm not sure I could sell them in good faith and would most likely end up returning them. I guess I have a couple weeks to mull it over before a final decision. I'm leaning towards canceling a couple now that I wont have to send in a lot hoping to get what I wanted

After a quick ebay check the pcgs 70 rp is already going for over 300 on its own

I was wrong in my previous comment about returns. I have a replacement set on the way tracked into Memphis. Looks like I'll be getting it Monday. No ding on the CC either (I checked)..

That's great...good luck with these.

I should add that as the other poster said with my few returns they usually credit my account and then debit it when the replacement coins are sent. In this case it looks like they skipped that step....

I've just order one set from MCM for $271 shipped: 2012-S 75th Anniversary San Francisco 2 Coin Silver Eagle Set (EG1) NGC PF70UC Reverse PF70 Proof 70 - SF Seal Label ***NOT FR/ER*** ***SHIPPING BEGINS 10/03***

I don't really care much about ER designation.... I would like to have one PCGS set though. Silvertowne site is down at this hour (midnight PST).

The PCGS are getting pretty hard to find. MCM sounds like they should have them middle to end of the month not sure if theyll start taking orders or not before that once they know what theyll have. I agree with the FS/ER label only thing its good for is reselling to people who really like that

SIlvertowne has been down for me for a few hours thought it was just my computer but guess not

Over the years I have learned that if I am buying coins for eventual resale I should NOT necessarily buy what I believe is appropriate but instead buy what most collectors like. I think FS/ER is meaningless BUT if I can get that designation on a coin then I will....because it DOES add to the resale of the coin.

I will not pay the $18 to PCGS for two words but I will buy PCGS FS 70 coins from a dealer (MCM, Silvertowne). NGC is a no brainer when submitting because there is no add'l fee for the designation.

I won't buy sushi but I do see a lot of people eating it.....

Humh..... Silvertowne website is still down. I'm wondering why? Because of those multiholders offer lead to overwhelming traffic that crashed the site?
