I'll vote for a breached card too... A $3 charge to Korean Airlines? This happened about three weeks ago... First time it's happened so maybe I've been lucky in the past. I'm thinking a member of a local wait staff is making some side bucks selling card numbers... PG

However, that would be a bad move... If the card were already flagged, they would have nowhere to run!

Unless they took a page out of DB Coopers playbook. Does seem like a lot of effort for some peanuts though

At last, my order switched from Halloween to 9/28. As it was placed in the last hour of ordering, I suspect that all SF sets should finish by next week.

When might they publish the actual number of sets produced? I know there was a published number the last day the sets were for sale, but I am sure that number has shrunk since then of actual produced sets as opposed to ordered

The number of sets produced (sold) will take a while. They all have to be shipped out and returns gathered before the final sales numbers are released.

Quote: The number of sets produced (sold) will take a while. If they finish shipping by next week, as appears likely. You can allow 2-3 weeks for returns/replacements. Then they should be able to publish some numbers by end of October. The fully audited count may take well into next year.

Have anyone's sets shipped today? Mine moved from 10/31 to 09/28, but they haven't shipped today...

Same with mine, but nothing shipped. Charge authorization usually hits my card the day before it ships, and nothing today, so I don't expect it to ship on Monday either.

Mine did not ship but my order from the 3rd has gone "in stock and reserved" and the cancel box is gone. My order from 3:40PM EDT on the 5th is still backordered and the cancel box is still live. On the in stock order, my CC has been dinged for the cost of the two sets so they should ship Monday or Tuesday. Maybe this time I will have something ship on or before Wednesday so I really get two day shipping. It will be interesting to see what the quality of these coins is. There is no reason to keep the boxes sealed anymore.

Just checked mine and they say expected to ship on the 28th but nothing has happened. Cancel box still there and cc not dinged

Just had a good side by side look at my second (and final) set. Ordered on 7/1 in the AM, shipped on the 25th vs first day order and the later coins are definitely of inferior quality. I'll try to get photos in the coming days. On the plus side, the later RP obverse is perfect. The reverse is a mess though. Even so I'm very pleased with the coins and think the second set will make a spectacular gift in the future. I'd be reluctant to order more than two of future special sets if the perceived quality doesn't improve. IMHO the price premium over yearly proofs & burnished is a bit steep, especially for the quality received. My next big coin purchase will likely be the 2006 set...unless I break and get a puck first.
