Well, I did get the RCM email announcing the new coin, but I kinda lost interest in the series.

Anyway, I won't buy anything site unseen... However, if the coin was representative of The Royal Cipher, I would be interested.

Sooo, waiting for pictures!

I'll gladly accept my 3 coins and hope the mintage decreases. Still wish I could have bought more than 3 canoes ;)

I don't think they'll be reducing the mintage on this cash cow series. An increase would be more likely.

Just noticed that the mint has changed the description on the subscription order. It says "Making History - 1,000 years : only 2 Diamond Jubilees".

Makes me think that the coin may depict Elizabeth II and Queen Victoria. That might turn out to be something special after all.

Mintage 250,000 Double dated 1952-2012 image is of the queen wearing a fancy hat. I'm sure someone will post pics soon.

As seen on ebay.

No wonder the Mint has been hiding this image.

The-Next-$20-For-$20-Coin-Is-Coming-Soon

Edit: the seller states that these are sold out at the Mint and he's offering it for $45.

Hmm... can't say I like that one very much, although I do like the old school portrait on the obverse.

Yeah the old school side is nice, but overall I don't really like it. Figures this one comes immediately following my subscription.
