BadThad - that sure is a purdy 70s Small - NICE!

Now joeturbo - just copy that and print it out as big as you can and put it on your wall behind your monitor where you can see it and memorize it... lol

It can be very frustrating to find a SD in circulation.
I've had better results searching dealer bins of cents cut from mint sets.

That's what I'm sayin' DVCollector!

When I first got into the hobby -not too long ago- I watched a video on YouTube of this guy that cherry-picks ebay listings for 70S Smalls (among other things). He bought like 12 or 13 mint sets and snagged a couple SD's...

I figured if this dude can do it from those horrible pictures on ebay I could too!... So I set out on my first mission to the local flea market to snag a 1970S Small (or anything else I had learned about so far), and picked one for 30¢

My success with the 1970S SD actually solidified my love for the hobby and Lincoln Cent series in general - for all of it's idiosyncrasies. (so if I sound like a broken record with that story - that's why)

Hahaha! YES!!

Yes a mint set! From ebay!

Which normally I wouldn't trust st all, however the seller and I had a great deal of Convo prior he solidified the deal with 100 % positive feedback, providing many additional photos at my request, and was just a really knowledgeable seller.

Let's hope the one in the picture is the one that actually arrives lol.

But anyway I paid 50.00 for the mint set, but honestly, my aggravation was worth 100 times that .

I'll post photos when it's in hand!

Ok now I'm off to find the proof..... Wish me luck! LOL
