I do not know the weight of the gold I usually do not weigh it until I get a bunch but I would guess around a gram. But hard to tell the bigger picker might add some weight to that.

Congrats GoldPanner. The gold is really interesting. I'm interested to hear/read your story. I assume this is something you do on a regular basis (based off your user name). Where do you pan, how long, how much do you get?

I am on east coast so it is hard to find gold. I just got into it a year ago and have done allright panning and sluicing. I usually only go one afternoon a week after work For a few hours What I have pictured is typically what I find, but like silver it all adds up slowly. I just got into roll hunting this winter and was on fire when I first started but I believe I have dried up my local banks. So I will probably focuse more on gold for the summer Oh who am I kidding I will still order boxes. Hopefully I will hit a monster box and a big old nugget this summer.Good luck to all this week.

I know there is gold found in reasonable quantities in Virginia and Georgia. Based on the geology of the areas I suspect you would find some in Tennessee and the Carolinas. We even get some glacially deposited gold here in Ohio!

I am sure that it is just a case of "Auto-Correct Fail" and nothing more.
