I know this RP is SF but I am not sure if it has the mint mark or not, I want to say only the proof does.

There was definitely doubt going into today if it would pass it or not, but that 30-40k in sales over night really eliminated all doubt. I just cant see how it would have that jump then basically literally nothing sells on the last day

They could but all they have to do is a little under 4k and its over. I dont see them doing less than that in 33 hours of sales left from the counter today.

Both 2012 have the s mm,the 20th&25th ann r/p have the p mm

I was doing fireworks for the kids and made a typo, you said you were not sure if it has the mint mark or not,i thought you might have thought there was a d or w mint mark on the 2012 r/p witch would be interesting.no biggie.

AH my fault that makes perfect sense now. Maybe the D or W is up next any "anniversary" coming up for them they could sell it as lol. Or maybe just a complete RP set on the way. Seems like theyre going to try and keep doing them as much as possible.

Technically this 2012 r/p will be a first year of issue with an (s) mint mark.

4 I think S D W P, guess it could be 8 if they went a set with the mint mark and a set without. Would probably be a logic disaster but a complete mintmark set would be cool

The Mint messed up big time, when they didn't offer a 100 year anniversary ASE for the Denver mint with a D mintmark for 2006. That would have been awesome to have, since no ASEs have a D mintmark, yet.

Final Sales count from US Mint of 250,738.

I expect sales to go higher? Maybe is the price for only 2 silver coin! Now will see how the after market reacts.

The 250K number is not the final count, that will be posted tomorrow. Today's number does not reflect the last three or so hours of sales. Denver has never even produced a proof coin as far as I know, let alone any bullion. It has produced uncirculated commens, both in 90% silver and clad but is primarily a circulation strike house. Even its commens lack the quality of the ones out of the other mints and I am not sure I want to see the results of an attempt to produce a fine coin at the Denver mint. Just to clarify what seems to be some sonfusion about mint marks, no bullion coins have mint marks, all uncirculated and proof (including reverse proof) coins do have mint marks (except for Philadelphia cents).

Even though it would have been a nightmare from the mints standpoint, that really would have been by far the coolest set to date

I don't think those are the final numbers.

From the Mint site:

251,302*
*Data for cumulative total units ordered is an approximation of total units ordered from the Unites States Mint through all of its active sales channels. Total units ordered will be updated on Friday, July 6, 2012 by 3 p.m. (ET) to reflect the last day of the ordering window. This data is provided for informational purposes only and should not be construed to represent accepted orders or actual sales figures.

I think we are suppose to get an update on numbers today.

That is today's update. Yesterday's number was 250,738. The additional 564 units are what were ordered in the last two or three hours. It is now 3:39PM ET on Friday July 6, 2012.

Here is my graph of the sales. The blue line is the running total, starting at 0 and ending at 251,302. The pink line is the daily sales with the average of three days shown each Monday. The yellow line is the daily average since the start, ending with a average of 8666 sets sold per day. The blue line's scale is on the right and the scale for link and yellow is on the left.
