I ordered two sets shortly after opening day and combined them with other stuff to take advantage of upgraded shipping. I hope that that means it will be free but in all truth it probably means that they will be sending it out UPS next day air.
I was on the site this afternoon thinking about buying another order but really couldn't think of anything that I wanted to combined the shipment with and the idea of mid-October shipping kind of turned me off and out of frustration I decided not to purchase another set. The extra 3 months really made me think that the mint did not make a lot of these coins on its first production run, and now the mid-October espected shipping date has led to be believe that the mint is either going to its third production run or is not going to be shipping any coins not purchased from the original production run until every extra set not minted originally can be can be fulfilled.
Does the San Francisco have limited production capacity or did the mint in saying that there were items that were going to shipped in September (?) under estimate the number of excess orders that would be needed to be fulfilled? Poor production planning?
I really hope that I don't come to regret this decision later on. But c'est la vie which roughly translates to don't spend time crying over a decision that you made.

One set to keep my collection complete. Still would like a 1995 w for a true complete set.

None here. Premium per oz is too steep for me. I'll keep an eye on the secondary market.

Zero for me. Looks like these may hit 300,000 sets. I would have bought these for investment but with the high numbers saw very little potential return, maybe even a loss.

+1 for zero....though I look forward to getting a reverse proof on the secondary market.

2 sets for me and will ship late July. I was thinking is it OK to send these in with the package opened for TPG? Unlike the 2011 set that must be submitted sealed from the Mint.

I am thinning some of my collection in my other collection as I start specializing even more. So I took some of the money from that hobby and splurged in this one by buying ASE 5 sets. I think these are amazing enough looking coins, and that they will keep their value since they are the first S mint RPs with low mintage around what the 2006 set was. If the mint keeps making these annually then I am not so sure I will indulge again. Another thing I am looking at is that the number of collectors of the ASEs, over the years, will probably increase if the hobby grows as a whole. My kids likely will get more out of these than I paid.

NGC has already made it clear that they do not want to see OGP, just send the coins in their capsules and ask for them back if you want them. ER labels from NGC are automatic when received by them before the cutoff date unless you say you don't want them. For PCGS, do not send OGP before the cutoff date and then after, if you want FS labels, you need to send unopened mint packaging as shipped to you. If you ordered other items along with the sets (to get over $300), you should not worry, the other items should ship separately and before the sets. The $4.95 will be charged to the first shipment only. The free upgrade to expedited shipping no longer comes with next day air service. You only get that if you pay the extra $12.95. The free upgrade now uses 2nd day air via UPS.

3 sets. I like the 250,730 counter number as of today with one more update supposedly tomorrow. How many sets can they sell in the two hour window that remained? The big name flippers must have gotten their orders early on. This is a good win-win set for the Mint and for long term collectors. Expect the Mint to sell coins/sets with an limited open order, mint to demand in the future. This was a risky experiment, but it succeeded.
