As I've mentioned in some other posts, I like to pick through Kennedy halves. Does anyone know a good resource online or in printed form that would help me identify kennedy varieties to look out for. Especially the kind that might be of value to other collectors?

garretterika,

CONECA is the only online source I know of.They have an extensive list, but no pictures.

I know this isn't much help, but Kennedy half dollars have quite a few varieties. Some very minor.

thanks coffecup57,
I did check out the variety master list on CONECA.
Since the first posting I've found out that The Kennedy half dollar book by James Wiles has lots of pics 300+ pages and covers the major varieties. Finding a copy for sale seems like the problem now. If anyone has one they would like to sell let me know.

garretterika,

If you live in a town with a large chain bookstore,Barnes and Noble or Books A Million, you can probably order it through them.

Try online at Amazon.com or one of the other online bookstores. If it is an older book you may not find it here.
