My apologies for not posting yesterday. We had inventory yesterday and it required 12 hours yesterday and 14 the day before. Here is (evidently the only one on CCF) my 1870 CC Seated dollar that my dad gave to me and was given to him by his grand mother.

Its graded F15 ANACS

Nice coin. And very nice history behind it. I live it when things can stay in the family like that. And no worries about not getting it up yesterday. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Or whatever they say about that. Plus now your the star of the show.

Steele I always wanted be a star. LOL

Yeah, my son already knows that coin will be his along with a LC and FE that dad got with the dollar. I could be destitute in the street and not sell that coin.

I can't post til Saturday, but I'll be checking back when I can. Seems like there was a metal detector post on here this summer about someone finding an 1870 CC half....

Here it is:

Looking forward to the coming days...

Thank you Moe.
I bought this coin raw from Rusty Goe in Reno so I wonder if this coin spent it's time in that area!
