Ikes, Kennedy's, WLH's and 7070. Many close but none complete.

I have been waiting for two coins to finish my Ikes. This is my first completed album except now I've discovered varieties and die clashes! Oh well. It's just a few more coins! So now I'll be looking through my Ikes for those types. Also am still working on Indian Heads and Wheaties as well as Mercs and Barber dimes...any grade.

Condor and Matthew... good to know you can get that much accomplished in 40 years or so. Thanks for the hope!

That is an awesome set of albums. I'm looking to get an Ike and SBA book next time I'm at shop.

I am currently working on a Washington quarter set. I am trying not to pay more than melt for the common dates, which is proving to be more challenging than previously thought ryan

Outside of the albums, my main goal is to get a straight run of large dollars. I know there are a number of them that I will likely never own, like the early ones, flowing hair and busts and Morgans like 1893S and 1894. Those aside, I am aiming for all the rest. Highest condition I can afford. If that means only a G for an 89CC, then thats what it shall be.
My wife, VACookey, has finished her Merc set, except for the 16D and errors, and is working on a high grade FBL set of Frankies.

I have yet to complete a single set. I came within 3 coins of completing my Ike set years ago and had a major shift in my collecting. It became apparent to me that each coin has it's own very individual characteristics. So I began storing them accordingly. With each coin having it's individual characteristics logged. Also learned I was drawn more to the history that each coin has. So I collect everything from Civil War Tokens and before that even, all the way through to modern coinage being produced today. OF Course Always adding to the Eisenhower Dollar collection. Especially the 1971 P and D along with the 1972 P and D When I see of of these in really good condition it is near impossible for me to pass it up Slight Case of OCD when it comes to those dates and mint marks of Eisenhower's My son is going to have a heart attack when he learns how many High Grade Ike's in those years and mint marks the old man squirreled away

There are so many albums that I haven't started yet that I'm leaving their completion up to my kids.
