I was surfing the bay and came across this nickel.The obverse looks like a commercial Dryer Coin while the reverse has no damage.Gut feeling tells me it's just a damaged coin " PMD" but just need a few opinions to confirm.Thanks

Looks like it was encased like in a lucky charm, bracelet, belt buckle etc... Not an error,PMD.

Only the front was exposed to the elements. The ring, or whatever, had a closed back - maybe prongs on the front held it in or a screw-on type lid that left the front exposed.

Circular marks on obverse most likely from coin sorter and counter. "Error" on obverse probably man made.
